Privacy & pilot terms
Your files and report: CSV processing runs locally. File contents and names are not intentionally sent to our server or analytics. Original files stay in memory only; the completed change report (which contains compared values) is saved in this browser’s IndexedDB so you can reopen and export it. Download a copy for safekeeping. You can explicitly delete the local report above. Other people using this browser profile may see anonymous results. Clearing browser data, private browsing or device loss can remove the report; we cannot restore it from a server. No cloud synchronization is offered. Do not use regulated, highly sensitive or confidential third-party data. Check results before acting.
One free use: One successful comparison counts, including a report with no changes. Failed validation, refreshes and downloads do not. We use a random browser identifier and a server-side allowance record; if signed in, we also use a pseudonymous account identifier. Anonymous use is a proportionate browser-based limit, not identity verification: clearing storage, another browser/device or deliberate client changes can bypass it. No fingerprinting. Optional consent-based Google Ads measurement is described below. An account’s server allowance follows that account, but the report remains on its original device. Sign-out or shared-device use is not proof of a new person.
Minimal operational measurement: We store timestamps, event names (page ready for comparison, trial started, first completion, allowance reached, waitlist viewed, saved signup, generic validation failure), random attempt IDs, pseudonymous browser/account IDs, test flags and a limited source category. No CSV values, filenames, raw error messages or full referring URLs are sent in these events. Attempts, distinct identifiers and completed uses are different measures; identifiers are not verified people. Owner/agent tests are excluded from reported real totals. Hosting/authentication may process technical logs and account details for operation and security.
Optional advertising measurement: An unchecked, separate choice on the waitlist form lets you allow Google Ads measurement for this page session. Only after you choose it and a new signup is saved do we load Google's tag and queue a lead conversion. This is not a purchase or paid subscription. Google may receive technical connection/browser data, this page address, ad-click information and an opaque signup record ID; it may use advertising cookies for attribution. We do not send your email, CSV contents or filenames in the conversion, and do not enable personalized ads or enhanced conversions. Declining does not affect comparison, download or joining the waitlist. We store an opaque conversion ID in this browser to avoid sending it twice; blocked storage suppresses measurement. Known owner, automated and marked test/sample activity is suppressed, but tracking does not verify humanity. Your choice is not remembered after reload. Uncheck before submitting to decline, or use the button below to withdraw future measurement, clear accessible advertising cookies and reload. Data already sent cannot be recalled by this control.
Waitlist and contact: We store your email, consent timestamp and optional comparison frequency solely to manage this subscription waitlist and contact you about it if available. Emails are deduplicated after trimming and lowercasing, without guessing whether different aliases belong to one person. Signup confirmation is database confirmation, not email verification. Only the app administrator can read waitlist records. No newsletters, sale of contact details or automatic subscription. Remove your signup using the device receipt above; if unavailable use the signed-in privacy form. Contact requests are visible only to you and the administrator. Earlier requests are preserved, not converted into subscription signups.
Terms and operator: Export Check by Astra is an AI-assisted independent pilot, not an accounting or inventory system. One completed comparison costs $0. The optional subscription waitlist has no agreed price, billing schedule or launch promise. No card details, payments or subscription contracts are accepted.
